About

A native speaker who has learned a language himself.

French teacherNative speaker · Private lessons

I am French, a private tutor by trade, and I live and teach in Russia. Years of one-to-one teaching have taught me one thing: a language is learned by speaking it, not by revising it.

I took Russian to a C1 level entirely on my own. So I know exactly where it hurts: the sounds you cannot hear, the grammar that will not stick, the fear of opening your mouth. That is the method I pass on.

Languages are not all I teach: maths and sciences have their own site — Cours Sigma, for pupils in the French school system.

Exams

DELF, DALF, TCF — prepared properly.

An official exam does not only test your French: it tests your ability to work inside a strict format. So we take the four parts one by one — listening, reading, writing, speaking — on real past papers, under exam timing.

We start from the exam date and work backwards: how many lessons, at what pace, and what to fix first.

For whom: anyone who needs a certified level of French — for a visa, a university, a citizenship file or a job.

Method

Three principles

What actually makes people progress — and what keeps them stuck for years.

01

Speak from the first lesson

Nobody learns to swim from the edge of the pool. You will make mistakes — that is the point: a mistake shows exactly what to fix.

02

Consistency beats talent

20 minutes a day beats three hours on a Sunday. A language settles over time, never in a rush.

03

Listen far more than you think

An hour of French in your ears every day reshapes your ear, your accent and your grammar — at almost no effort.

FAQ

Everything you need to know

Online or in person?

Both. Online everywhere via Zoom, or in person depending on availability — same quality of follow-up.

Is the first contact free?

Yes. The first 20-minute conversation is free and without commitment.

I am a complete beginner. Is that a problem?

On the contrary. Beginners progress the fastest: everything is new and every single lesson shows. We start with the sounds and with the words you will actually use that same week.

Which language do we speak during the lesson?

Yours at first — English or Russian — and more and more French as you go. Explanations always stay in the language you are comfortable with.

Do you prepare for DELF, DALF and TCF?

Yes. We take the four parts one by one on real past papers, under exam timing, and we build the plan backwards from your exam date.

How does a lesson work?

You speak, I correct as we go, and we take the one point of grammar or vocabulary that was blocking you. Materials and exercises are sent after each session.

Can we stop whenever we want?

Yes. No minimum commitment: we move forward session by session.

Several lessons? Is there a discount?

Yes: −10% for a 10-hour package, −15% for 20 hours. Consistency is what makes a language stick.

How does payment work?

Payment is made by bank transfer, against an invoice issued before the lesson.

Any special equipment needed online?

No. A computer or tablet with internet is enough. I handle the rest: shared whiteboard, materials and exercises sent after each session.

Can we go intensive before a trip or an exam?

Yes. Before an exam, a move to France or a job interview, we can meet several times a week and work on precise targets.
